With the establishment of Westgate on the North Sea, explorers have sought to cross the wild freshwater sea to explore the lands far to the west beyond. It is rumored there is a wild, untamed land prime for colonization by brave pioneers. These lands are outside of the official Aegis Forest, and therefore away from the protectorate of the Elves. Humans hope to establish profitable trading colonies and perhaps even new kingdoms on the banks of the cold northern sea.
