The Expansive Freewind Savannah

Endless Windswept Plains of the West

The Freewind Savannah is named for the constant winds that blow from the far west. It is a land of nearly endless dry grasslands and the occasional copse of trees.

The greatest dangers of exploring this vast wilderness is the scarcity of water and the numerous great beasts that hunt among the grasses. Their are countless herds of bison, cattle, and other grazing animals. These creatures can be dangerous in their own right when they stampede.

.

It is also the ancestral home of the Havashi (halflings), and many explorers have noted that their are many hidden Havashi villages among the savannah.
