Game Development

There were two major game development projects that I worked on over the years.


[2009 – 2016] – Fief was an overly ambitious game project that sought to combine elements of a number of video game genres, from survival games to RPG, to city-management, to civilization management. The project consumed much of my free time, but ultimately, it was too much for one programmer.

Endless Worlds

[2016 – 2018] – Endless Worlds was a complete rewrite of the Fief engine while trying to preserve most of the elements of the game. I experimented with writing my own UI system within libGDX. Unfortunately, I was a bit burnt-out on programming and decided to take a break.
