Sleepless Again [2017] (Rock Ballad)
This song I wrote in 2006 when I first moved to Louisville, Kentucky. I was struggling with a mood disorder and all the changes to my life at the time. I had just gotten out of a long-term relationship and trying to figure out who I was. Worst of all, I had some of the worst insomnia I had ever experienced.
This is a classic chord progression and in this recording I was working on my vocal production, feeling like I could finally express this song as well as it deserved. I love the dynamics of this song, it slowly gains energy throughout.
